Tranquil coastal holidays in Anglesey

The northern most cottage in Wales from Anglesey Cottage Holidays

Ty'n LLan, a delightful white washed farm cottage and Hen Stabl, a beautiful stable conversion, lie at the end of a single track lane adjacent to historic site of Llanbadrig 5th century church.

The beautiful coves, caves and rock pools of White Lady Bay are metres away and are always a popular spot for our guests. The beautiful scenery and old church haven't gone unnoticed by Hollywood either! None other than Demi Moore filmed here recently accompanied by her film crew, and Ty'n Llan made a great base for them.

Ty'n Llan is the most northerly cottage in Wales and is approximately a fifteen minute walk from the fishing village of Cemaes Bay where we also have the property 29 Stryd Fawr.

Miles of unspoilt beauty

On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man, the Mountain of Mourne, the Mull of Kintyre and Cumbria, and make sure you keep a lookout for the Dolphins, Porpoises and Seals that can sometimes be seen in the bay.

The beautiful and unspoilt Coastal path stretches for 125 miles and if you want to walk it, or at least part of it, then we can provide maps. We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by acres of farmland, and the cattle, sheep and horses are always a delightful attraction for children of all ages.

In 2007 and 2008 Cemaes won Wales in Bloom.

Beaches and rock pools

The sandy beach at Cemaes is popular with families, safe, and has been awarded a European blue flag.

It has all round appeal, where sailing is popular and boat trips are available from the harbour side, and the rock pools are great fun for the children.

Parking is available on the promenade, together with toilet facilities and a kiosk serving snacks and ice cream.

A quieter and more secluded cove can be enjoyed at White Lady Bay which is metres from Ty'n LLan.

Leave calm, happy and smiling

Llanbadrig also boasts it's own vine yard which is open to the public for wine tasting, but don't worry it is well within walking distance.

The Life Boat plays an important role in any sea side village and Cemaes holds annual events to raise funds for the lifeboat.

These include:

  • Lifeboat day
  • Strawberry teas
  • Flower show
  • Duck race and lots more...

You will find Cemaes a friendly village and are sure to relax here. We like our guests to leave calm, happy and smiling.
